Sup Guys, I hope you can help. I do not get locked out after 3 failed attempts or anything and I can use my laptop but I cannot change anything in the bios due to the Admin PW. I have tried to recover the pw with other keygens to no avail. It must have an updated bios version because it lists it as Dell Inc A15.thus I am not sure which service code/tag it is. I think I have tried most with the free online keygens but maybe I am doing something wrong. I have a Dell Precision M6300 with service tag 88NGGF1-3A5B FYI.I bought this at a local JR College Sale. They had a few of them and said they used them for AutoCAD or something.
It was only $100 so I bought it for the amazing screen resolution! I had no idea these things had PWs on them like this nowadays LOL! Stupid me took it apart looking for the jumper and then I looked online and saw all the drama about admin PW and thought well serves me right!!! Anyways any help is appreciated. I guess if I cannot figure it out here its a good $100 lesson and I need to not buy things impulsively. I guess I can try to short the chip next!
Hi, sorted!!! First when you enter code press 'OK' not correct way, you need to hold 'control' and press enter twice, Second The code was 6l ( as in 6 'lowercase L' ) not 61? But many thanks Ah next problem.. TrueCrypt Boot Loader 7.0a I need password or a solution! Hi i anyone still providing admin codes?
I recently bought a refurbished laptop and found out after 2 weeks of using it that the bios has a password. The system number is below, any help appreciated. 832XD12-1D3B I received my password from dell technical support, surprised they gave it to me I thought they would insist that I provide evidence that I am the original buyer from dell (like Apple would). But they were actually very helpful and the service agent called me back a few times to go through it with me, there were a few difficulties with using the correct code. I will explain.
I provided my service tag number (as above) and they generated the password for me within minutes. All very good. The problem though was that the bios would not accept the password and had to try a few different things. 1) First I was told not to SHIFT to get a capital character, but to press CAPS LOCK and enter desired character. Turns CAPS off when entering numbers 2) More crucial do not press enter after you have entered the password, hold CTRL and press enter 3 times I was googling 1D3B codes all over the net for my laptop, and came across a few threads where some people were saying they received the password but it still didn't work. The above tips might solve it. He dell agent that called me phoned in twice with suggestions, first time he read through notes and asked me not to do shift, and then he read this up more and called up to suggest I hold control and then press enter three times which worked.
I was surprised by how proactive dell support were to be honest. I was going to say 'I give up' and was going to throw in the towel, but he insisted that he can't close the support ticket until he fixes the prblem and took pewrsonal charge to find a solution.

Try m50od80n 3rd and 7th are zero's.4th is o for one but this will only work if its the original HDD. Hi trying to find my Dell Inspiron 3521 laptop BIOS password. Service Tag is 78P7RZ1 That service tag is the code I get when I put in wrong password three times.
The screen shows me that code and it is labeled as Service Tag. It also matches the Service Tag (S/N) that I see on the sticker on the outside of the laptop. And nowhere does it ever add a suffix after those 7 characters.
Is it possible for it to be 7 only and no suffix? Also, when I input wrong password three times, it gives me that Service Tag as I said, but it also gives me another code right above that labeled System Disable. This one is 46330F94AAF6E438. Any chance you all can calculate the password for this from that? Your help is much appreciated!
Sometimes it can be useful to downgrade the BIOS of a device. We’ve found that by downgrading the BIOS on laptops we can change the unlock code used to bypass BIOS lock codes. Most of the schools we work with receive donated equipment so being able to unlock the BIOS becomes imperative, especially during the imaging process. We’ve outlined the steps below to both downgrade the BIOS on an older Dell laptop, as well as include instructions as to unlocking a previously secured BIOS. Download But Chi Thong Minh Full Crack. Step 1 – Create a Bootable Flash Drive This process details creating a bootable USB flash drive that includes Hiren’s BootCD. If you’re unfamiliar with Hiren’s it is a great compilation of many tech tools that can be useful for diagnosing and fixing computers.
Install Windows 2000 In Dosbox Android. Best of all it’s free, like much of the software we recommend. You’ll need the latest version of the software so you can download that here: Once you have a copy of the.iso for Hiren’s you’ll need to follow and download a few more tools before you can boot from a flash device. As those steps have been carefully documented already, please follow this link to complete the process of creating a bootable Hiren’s flash drive: Step 2 – Locate and load a compatible BIOS firmware As we’re downgrading the BIOS version on a laptop it can sometimes be challenging to locate old firmware. Luckily for us Dell has their FTP publically accessible hence we can access almost any previous version of BIOS that we’ll need for the next step.
Please browse to the following website in a FTP-compatible browser in order to locate the appropriate firmware. In my example I have connected to the website, entered the bios folder, and scrolled to located my specific BIOS version. Sometimes you may have to try a few versions before locating a correct one. Once you’ve located a version and have downloaded it load the executable (.exe) onto the Hiren’s boot flash you previously created.
Step 3 – Boot and Flash At this point you should have both a Hiren’s boot usb and a copy of a downgraded BIOS you intend to flash your device with. Reboot your Dell and press F12 to access the boot menu. Select the USB device you created and load Hiren’s.
You’re prompted to select which Hiren’s tool you’d like to use and for this tutorial we’ll be using Mini Windows XP. Once Mini Windows XP has loaded on your device, you must select the command prompt from the desktop to access the shell. At the command prompt shell you should type c: to access the flash device. If needed, you can also perform a dir to view all files on the flash device.
Locate the Dell BIOS firmware you intend to flash and type it with the following /forceit flag: At this point the BIOS upgrade launcher should load and it will inform you that BIOS downgrades are not recommended. Agree past all of the update screens and although the launcher states it will automatically reboot you will manually have to type exit to exit the shell and click the start menu to reboot the computer. Once rebooted the Dell BIOS update screen should appear and your BIOS should be downgraded. Be sure not to disconnect power or touch the device during the BIOS update for risk of ‘bricking’ the laptop. Step 4 – Unlock the BIOS At this final step you should have successfully downgraded your BIOS version in order to change the BIOS unlock code. Once you enter the BIOS and select the Unlock option you’ll be presented with a similar screen: If your system number still contains a [1D3B, 1F5A, 3A5B, or 1F66] then you will need to downgrade to a different BIOS version before you will be able to unlock the device. If your system number ends in a different alphanumeric key then you can continue.
For this step you can download the offline tool and keep a local copy or use the following BIOS Master Password Generator website. Please make sure to type your system number all in CAPS and include the exact spelling with hyphens. An example of a successfully generated key can be found here: As you can see a long password is generated (dell by serial number) which should be entered to unlock the BIOS of your Dell laptop.
Please make sure to enter the password exactly as listed paying close attention to the difference between a letter l and the number 1. The BIOS Password unlocker website and downloadable tool can be found below. As always, if you have trouble with these steps please don’t hesitate to contact us for support. Good luck and get cracking!
