Fatxplorer Serial
The next major version of FATXplorer v2.6, will support original Xbox storage devices. But from what I can see no other PC software can do this, is this in fact the case? I have over a terabyte of games to move to my new drive. This is to much of a pain to ftp. Looks like I need to cool my heels until Eaton can. FATXplorer serial numbers are presented here. No registration. The access to our data base is fast and free, enjoy.
I would say Xplorer360 does a better job than FATXplorer when it comes to HDDs. I mean,I could read both my stock 10GB Xbox HDD (after I unlocked it,my Xbox is TSOP'd so this wouldn't be too hard) and my 80GB Maxtor HDD I use on the modded Xbox. I had to use Xplorer360 to fix error 13,because of a bad x2config.ini I created. I fixed that by simply connecting the HDD to the PC,booted up 7,set the compatibility stuff I had to do (7 requires this,XP doesn't) and opened the drive, going through each partition (they were in no each order unlike the UnleashX dash) until I found the ini, deleted it,and turned it off. Put the drive back into the box, booted my PC back, fired up DScaler, and booted up the Xbox. I got the X2 Live Config screen, then the usual (stock, since it couldn't find the old ini) animation, and finally got greeted by the UnleashX menu I had. And to people using the X2 config maker - I'd recommend avoiding trying the FTP function,as that's how I ended with Superfro's error 13 screen.
Or,if you use it,you'll notice the dashboard section gets empty. Pirates The Movie Online 2005 there. Download Skate 2 For Pc Full Version here. Just populate it back and then proceed edit the rest of the stuff.
Johnny7810, I agree with you about Xplorer360. I used it last week on two XBOX's that are both v1.6's, and both had an Error 16 (both were softmodded) that I got really cheap from Craigslist. I have an old school IBM NetVista P4 running XP, and I fixed both Xbox's using this PC and the hotswap method. I want to put together a 2TB Xbox with one of my v1.0 units (I have read that getting a 2TB drive working with a softmodded is a pain) that is TSOP'd, and fill the drive up, and FTP'ing all that I know would take forever. I am wondering if Xplorer360 supports transferring games in ISO format to an original Xbox HDD? I myself would want the fastest possible transfer speeds. It would be nice if FATXplorer could read unlocked Xbox HDD's, and transfer ISO format games to it.
An awesome feature of either FATXplorer or Xplorer360 would be if you had the EEPROM file on your PC, the ability to lock and unlock the Xbox HDD.
