Fs2004 Visual Flight London

Hi there., I have London Scenery and love it. The night lighting is excellent to. One thing is that it doesn't extend to the west of london to far (check the area coverage yourself). It works with UKVFR and TERRAIN (which i have), and i presume it works with default scenery. Frame rates are ok on my specs, though there is a lot of loading going onat the beginning.London City is fine (i guess this was an older issue).Also there is the UKVFR autogen project which you might want to look at which includes some freeware autogen add-ons.Hope this helpsDan.

However, if you are on an approach to Heathrow, with lots of other activity (such as AI)etc then you may have problems. I dont like to say your framerates will be ok because every setup is slightly different.

What i do is turn the visuals down a little if flying over london on approach, but crank it up full-blast for sightseeing! I do not think you need the UKVFR for it to work, but if you are concerned i would recommend joining the Visual Flight forum. Mainly because of my concern about having (1) adequate computer power to enjoy this scenery to the fullest potential and (2)the exchange rate for US dollar. (not vendor's fault). The conversion rate for US came out to be $30. I flew arouond in my citation X and was getting a range of 10-22 fps.(locked at 23fps.)with some London 3rd party scenery and AFCAD. To keep same settings I would assume I would take a big hit of fps and probably added stutters and reloads since only have 512bm.Regards to all,Carl.
